In a safe, secure housing environment extending into the wider community, we will promote a positive image of ageing and encourage healthy active lifestyles based on the imagination and ambitions of our residents.

Our charitable promise is to achieve this irrespective of their wealth or health.

ExtraCare’s belief about Residents:-

  1. Listening to resident’s opinions and providing opportunities for resident involvement will continually improve our service.
  2. Inside every older person is a younger person at heart.
  3. Elderly people wish to remain healthy and active – and with support and encouragement will do something about it.
  4. Retirement is a time to cherish old skills and develop new ones.
  5. Age and frailty are no barrier to continuing to achieve.
  6. Volunteering is an opportunity to enrich lives and services – you get more from giving than receiving.
